Here's what working with us really involves.
No two plans look alike, but the frame holds steady: an opening assessment, a curriculum made for you, live sessions, and consistent support filling the gaps between them. Below is how it all connects.
What comes with every program.
Starting diagnostic
Your first sit-down maps out where you're strong and where you're not — the reference point everything else is planned against.
A plan made for you
A schedule shaped by your part, your test date, and the weight NABNE gives each topic — never a template pulled off a shelf.
Live private sessions
Real-time online chat meetings spent on teaching, working cases, and answering questions, with feedback the moment you need it.
Exam-style question sets
Practice items that match the boards' integrated feel, each followed by a walk-through so a wrong answer turns into something learned.
Assignments & review
Set work between meetings keeps each topic fresh and keeps your solo study aimed squarely at what counts.
Support by email
Message your tutor across the week whenever you're stuck — the help carries on after the session wraps.
Progress check-ins
Honest updates on what's locked in and what still needs attention, so you're never guessing where you stand.
Strategy coaching
Focused practice on unpacking long cases, ruling out distractors, watching the clock, and sidestepping the traps NPLEX plants.
Final-stretch simulations
Timed, true-to-form run-throughs near the end, plus a dry run of the pacing and logistics of exam day.
Hands-on, back-and-forth, and anchored to your plan.
Every session is live, online, and just the two of you. A normal appointment picks up the topics your plan has queued, tackles NPLEX-style cases side by side, and talks through differentials and management out loud — training your reasoning, not merely your memory.
When something's off, your tutor catches it right there and resets it, then hands you clear targets to hit on your own before you meet again. Every material you need is included, and the measured pace keeps you moving without swamping a clinic week.
Core Components
Teaching you to answer — not only to recall.
Knowing the content isn't enough to clear the NPLEX on its own. These are the thinking habits we work into every program.
Read the case like a clinician
Spot the core clinical issue, filter out the distractions around it, and know what's being asked before your eyes ever reach the options.
Eliminate with logic
When two choices both seem defensible, we lean on clinical plausibility, internal consistency, and the patterns NPLEX itself repeats to tell the strongest answer from the one that's only technically fine.
Avoid the built-in traps
We drill out the usual pitfalls — reaching for too much treatment, locking onto the first finding you see, and picking answers that are true in a vacuum but wrong for the case in front of you.
The questions candidates ask us most.
What's the best way to study for NPLEX Part I?
Part I pulls together anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and pathology, and it rewards seeing how those subjects talk to each other rather than reciting them separately. Our tutors zero in on the concepts that carry weight and teach them the way the exam asks about them. You'll have one tutor the whole way, shaping a plan around your soft spots and your scheduled date.
I didn't pass last time — can tutoring still help?
Absolutely, and it's a big part of who we work with. We begin with a diagnostic to find exactly what tripped you up, then retrain the mechanics of answering: breaking down the vignette, cutting the distractors, and landing on the best choice. Every program carries retake coverage, so we stay with you until you're through.
How do Part I and Part II differ?
Part I checks that your science foundation is solid before you move deeper into clinical work. Part II is the integrated, scenario-driven exam — it looks at whether you can practice safely across diagnosis, botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, physical medicine, psychology, pharmacology, and emergency care. We coach you through either one, along with the elective exams a few states ask for.
Are sessions held online?
They are — everything we do is one-on-one over the web. That covers your live sessions, the email support that fills the days between them, and scheduling loose enough to work around clinic, classes, and the rest of your life.
How many weeks of prep will I need?
That comes down to where you're starting and when you test. We run 4-week, 8-week, and 20-week options. Most people land on the 8-week; the 20-week exists for candidates who want the longest possible runway into the exam.
What do the programs cost?
There are three: the 4-week at $1,689.99, the 8-week at $2,789.99, and the 20-week at $3,989.99. All three come with live private tutoring, email support, and a plan built for you — and the 8- and 20-week programs add retake coverage.
Is passing guaranteed?
The 8-week and 20-week programs include retake support. Stick with the plan your tutor builds, and if you don't pass, we keep working with you at no further cost.
